The short version. The demo is free. Signing up is free too — your first 30 days are a free trial of the entire app with no card required. If you never subscribe, your account simply goes read-only and your records stay yours to read. If you do subscribe and that first paid month isn't working for you, email us within 30 days of the charge and we'll refund it — no interrogation. You can cancel in one click anytime to stop future billing.
This Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to subscriptions to HaulProof, operated by HaulProof, LLC.
The free demo
The click-around demo and the calculators on haulproofhq.com are free to use with no account and no payment method. Try before you ever sign up.
The 30-day free trial
Signing up is free, and it starts a 30-day free trial with no card required. The trial begins the moment you create your account — not at checkout — and it covers the entire app. Nothing is held back during those 30 days.
Because no payment method is on file during the trial, nothing is charged when the 30 days are up and there's no subscription sitting there to cancel. A card is only needed if and when you decide to subscribe.
If you never subscribe, your account moves to read-only. Everything you entered — settlements, receipts, expenses, and your profit-and-loss reports — stays there for you to open and read, and we don't delete your records. A read-only account simply doesn't take new entries or edits; starting a subscription at any time turns full access back on, same account and same data.
The 30-day money-back guarantee
If you do subscribe and then decide HaulProof isn't for you, your first paid month is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee. Email us at support@haulproofhq.com from your account's email address within 30 days of your first charge and we'll refund that charge in full. You don't need to justify it — "it's not for me" is enough.
If you're on the annual plan, the same guarantee applies to your first annual charge: ask within 30 days of it and we'll refund it in full — the whole $190, not a prorated slice of it. Paying for a year up front shouldn't buy you a worse deal than paying by the month.
After the first month
Once you're past that first 30-day window, subscription fees for months (or years) already billed are non-refundable, including partial periods. But you're never locked in — cancel anytime and you won't be billed again, and you'll keep full access through the end of the period you already paid for. After that, your account moves to the same read-only access described above, and your records stay yours to read.
How to cancel
Once you're subscribed, canceling takes one click in your account settings. No phone call, no retention survey, no "are you sure" five times, no button buried six menus deep. You click cancel, you're done.
How to request a refund
Email support@haulproofhq.com from the email address on your account and tell us you'd like a refund under the guarantee. We'll process eligible refunds back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it can take a few business days to show up.
One fair-use note
The guarantee is meant for drivers genuinely deciding HaulProof isn't the right fit. We may decline refunds in cases of obvious abuse — for example, repeatedly subscribing and refunding the same account.
